SYNOPSIS
Being bad never felt so good.
I fell for Ally the moment I saw her. Who doesn’t like a confident, intelligent woman with curves I could spend days exploring?
Who am I kidding?
I have.
Many times.
Our story ended abruptly when she left like we weren’t meant to be. We are. So I’m calling her bluff. That’s how I ended up thousands of miles from home, standing next to a man who claims to be her fiancé.
Being good has never felt so bad.
When it comes to a successful man with an incredible body and biteable jaw aka Hutton . . . let’s just say willpower is not my strong suit.
Need more?
Try bad-boy American.
You’re welcome.
Embracing my newfound good girl status, I do the right thing and start my reign. My desires no longer matter. The monarchy, the people, and my country do. There is no place for love in this new life.
But I never expected to see him again, much less standing next to my royally appointed soon-to-be fiancé.
As if that didn’t complicate things, the man I once told I love you to is wearing a perfectly tailored tuxedo and my favorite smirk. I straighten my crown and adjust my dress, realizing this good girl never stood a chance. I’ll take the bad reputation if I get him.

4-star
“Ally Edwards and Hutton Everest meet at a bar on Halloween night and let’s just say he was Prince Charming to her Cinderella! However she was anything but Cinderella in real life.

I have to admit once the prologue finished the next few chapters didn’t really grab me at all. Then things started to become more interesting, it wasn’t a long wait but I can see how it was necessary. I did find it a bit repetitive though and it went round in circles a tad, luckily not for long.

Wow, the so-called ‘bad characters’ really are rotten! Without spoiling anything I could have slapped one in particular quite soundly! Always a good sign when a reader gets that invested in the characters. 😂 Likewise, the ‘good’ characters are great! I really connected with them and especially liked the Everest Brothers. Plus I was I pleased to see one of my not so popular ones suddenly see the light and become human, phew I was instantly relieved.

The passion is off the chart hot between the lead characters and the depth of feeling is intense. They really have a great connection and although this could be termed a modern-day fairytale, it does have many real-life aspects. But mainly it is a dreamy romance.

Let me first start by saying I enjoyed this book a lot but God did I struggle to get into this book, it was very slow to start and I was wondering when the book would fire up and take hold of my interest. I’m saying it was slow it wasn’t bad. I didn’t not want to finish it. I just wanted it to hurry up.

I got my wish as the book hit around 40% and an awesome story sprang from the pages. Hutton and Ally’s story is a strange but good one and I suppose you have to read the beginning to get to the end that was just brilliant and beautiful. I really can’t explain anything just know it’s one of the best fairytales I have read.

This is a fantastic modern day fairytale and one that you will really enjoy. It was slow for me but I ended up completely loving it and the end is just mind-blowing and I will never forget it.
